Description

Your cruise will take you on a tour of the numerous lakes that are at the heart of the Havelland region, now a UNESCO world heritage site. Along the chain of lakes between Berlin and Potsdam, you will enjoy a lot of architectural testimony to Prussian History, such as castles, churches, splendid gardens and other landmarks.

On through the former border zone between the GDR and the West, your 7- lake cruise takes you past the smallest nature reserve in Germany, the “Imcheninsel”;  past many other historic landmarks like the Haus der Wannsee-Konferenz, Villa Liebermann, Villa Lemm, the tour eventually takes you down Friedrich-Leopold-Kanal into Griebnitzsee and Potsdam with its well-known  Babelsberg castle and gardens. And on to more recent history, the boat-tour passes beneath the famous Glienicker Brücke, on which during the cold war period agents were notoriously swapped. Enjoy the thrill and be amazed by the beauty of this lake cruise through stunning nature and past breath-taking historic landmarks.
